Together, the SDG Leadership Lab and the Research Lab provide on the ground assistance to teams and work towards lasting policy changes for more effective leadership across the system.
The SDG Leadership Lab provides in-country customised team support and coaching on collaborative leadership and collective action.
Developed in collaboration with UN’s Development Cooperation Office, The labs introduce dedicated methodologies, approaches and practices on systems leadership to mobilise innovation and critical thinking to bring the members of leadership teams to work collaboratively, agree on common priorities and find practical and creative solutions to shared challenges.
Together with academic institutions, research groups, and think tanks, The Research Lab conducts further research on issues that disrupt effectiveness of leadership and transformation. The research and analysis provides the foundation to advocate to and engage with decision-makers and policy-makers at the global level to support system reform.
The Research Lab also facilitates dialogue between leaders within a safe space where leaders from different operations can discuss common challenges and introduce new thinking and approaches that can catalyse change immediately in operations.
